What an excellent addition to the Beatin' Path Library! Patrick has created lessons with movement, singing, and playing instruments for our youngest students, PreK-2! Early childhood education can be thrilling, enlightening, and undoubtedly the best time to start children on a path of artistry.

Patrick has created these lessons with that in mind. Every class is full of aesthetic appeal yet developmentally perfect for the age group. Those who know Patrick's work will love his use of "jazzy" grooves in several pieces. These inevitably become the favorites of the children and the teacher!

These songs are perfect for your elementary music classes, school choirs with Orff Ensembles, or Festival choirs. Most have been performed at choral festivals around the country. All vary in levels of difficulty, but all are perfectly adaptable to the age and abilities of your students.

These songs highlight some great jazz grooves. Most are two-part but all are easily adapted to unison and up to five part vocals as ostinatos are layered. Patrick wrote these with his students over a period of 10 years so all the pieces are child-tested and true. It's truly a fantastic resource for your music program.
